T. Myers Animal Industries is owned and operated by Tristan. She is an undergrad student majoring in animal science with aspirations of becoming a large animal veterinarian. She holds a New York State technical endorsement in veterinary medicine, which she achieved during high school through the OU BOCES career and technical program.  She was raised on a hobby farm where her family raised beef, poultry, swine, and goats for their consumption. They also own a handful of horses that Tristan grew up riding western on trails and around the farm.  In addition to taking care of her animals, she also worked for various other farms, including a dairy goat farm, a thoroughbred breeding farm, a dairy sheep farm, and much more.  She even worked as a veterinary assistant during her first semester of college, where she gained a lot of hands-on experience in the veterinary field. After years of taking care of others’ pets and farms as well as taking care of her own, she decided to open this business with hopes to one day expand to veterinary care. She hopes she can continue to help put farm owners’ minds at ease and even pass on some knowledge as she continues her education.
